JIU's fully accredited courses and degrees are designed to be work-relevant and student-focused. The Jones Gold Standard by which we design our programs means that each course is designed from the bottom-up focusing on what students need to learn and how they need to learn it. Personalized Learning Assistance and Convenience

JIU offers certificates, associate, bachelor, master and doctorate degrees in its Schools of Education and Business. We offer over 30 certificate and degree unique and specialized programs on which students can focus. To find the program that's right for you, our students work directly with their own Admissions Counselor. Counselors are available seven days a week and can help you explore the best academic fit and the many options for comfortably financing your next educational step.

Upon admission, an entering student will partner with his or her own academic "personal trainer." A student's personal Academic Service Counselor (ASC) will help a student create a unique and flexible learning path taking into account a student's competing priorities. The ASC introduces the online conveniences that JIU provides: such as the online e-global library® for student reference and the online bookstore where course-accompanying texts and materials can be purchased. The ASC will stay in partnership with that student until the academic degree is earned and join in celebration at a student's cyber-based graduation.
